He was predeceased by : his parents, Vern Johnson and Fern Johnson. He is survived by : his significant other Kathie; his children, Keith (Krista), Kevin (Jennifer), Kristie, Kraig (Kristen) and Kurtis (Priscilla); his grandchildren, Kaitlyn, Caleb, Kyle, Ian (Phoebe), Kaedyn, Sarah, Adelaide, Soren, Hazel, Nathan, Mabelle, Cora, Maxwell and Maddox; his siblings, Anita Kay Cain of Glen Carbon, Carole Snyder (Perry) of Conway, Don Johnson (Connie) of Louisville and Dan Johnson (Sherry) of Sarasota, Florida; and also, Rick (Pam) and Kim (Barry). He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.

Visitation was held on Tuesday, May 21st 2024 from 11:30 AM to 1:30 PM at the Baue Funeral Home - Cave Springs (3950 W Clay St, St Charles, MO 63301). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, May 21st 2024 from 1:30 PM to 2:30 PM at the same location. A burial was held on Tuesday, May 21st 2024 at the St. Charles Memorial Gardens (3950 W Clay St, St Charles, MO 63301).

The family has requested that in lieu of flowers, memorials be made to Grace Community Chapel Missions or Elders Fund, Righteous Rides, or The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society.
