He was predeceased by: his parents, Don Edleman and Lois Edleman; his parents-in-law, Alan and Donna Rutenbeck; and his brothers-in-law, Dave Etringer and Jay Hughes.
He is survived by: his wife Lynne Rutenbeck of St. Charles, Missouri; his children, Elizabeth Stillman (Craig) of St. Charles, Missouri and Jacob Edleman (Emily) of Waukee, Iowa.; his grandchildren, Hannah, Hayden, Porter, Ember and Lily; his sisters, Jan Teramae of Coralville, Pam Teramae of Coralville and Sherri Hughes of Preston, Iowa; and his siblings-in-law, Jeanne Christensen (Rob) of Marshalltown, Joan Etringer of Beloit, Wisconsin and Lee Rutenbeck of Maquoketa, Iowa. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews, and cousins.
