We are sad to announce that, on January 1, 2026, at the age of 83, William E. Mathews of Saint Charles, Missouri passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Elmer Mathews and Bertha Mathews. He is survived by: his wife Carol Mathews; his children, Sheri Hall (Robert), Brett Mathews (Julie) and Jeff Mathews; his grandchildren, Blake Hall (Alayna), Brandon Hall, Brice Hall, Joshua Mathews, Aidan Mathews, Ian Mathews, Logan Mathews and Emily Mathews; his great grandchild Harvey Hall; and his brother Kurt Mathews (Susan). He is also survived by nephews, nieces, cousins and many dear friends.
