We are sad to announce that, on April 13, 2020 we had to say goodbye to Beulah Clara (Borgelt) Lackey (Saint Clair, Missouri), born in Deshler, Nebraska. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Laura E. Borgelt and Edwin Borgelt; her husband Eugene Lackey; her daughter-in-law Julia Lackey; her grandson Joseph Huellinghoff; and her great grandchild Alexis Bay.

She is survived by: her children, Darrel Lackey (Sue) of Wentzville, MO, James Lackey (Maryellen) of St. Clair, MO, Eugene C. Lackey of St. Clair, George Lackey (Tia) of New Iberia, LA, Jeanne Link of Florissant, MO, Judene Huellinghoff (Steve) of Cuba, MO, Lisa Wilder (Clarence Pealer) of Leslie, MO and Lora Tyler (David) of Union, MO. She is also survived by twenty-one grandchildren, twenty-three great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, great and great-great-nieces and nephews, cousins and many friends.

“My heart is heavy with sadness finding out Beulah has passed. Eugene & Beulah were special to me. When I took care of Eugene back in the early 2000’s I became very fond of the Lackeys. Gene & I had several long conversation I’ll always remember. I enjoyed helping Beulah lower the Quilts at the Church on Quilt days. Beulah started teaching me Piano lessons, I loved spending that time with her. I’m so sad. R.I.P Beulah, hello to Gene. Gods Blessings to you both. My Condolences to the family 😢”
