It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Elsie Jewel Mester of Saint Clair, Missouri, born in Richwoods, Missouri, who passed away on July 12, 2022, at the age of 99, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parent Vergil; her husband Bud Mester; and her sister Helen Dixon. She is survived by: her daughter Carolyn Anderson (David) of St. Clair, MO; her sister Kathryn Jobe of Washington, MO; her brother-in-law Bob Schallenberg of O'Fallon, MO; her grandchildren, Nathan Anderson (Julianne) of Lonedell, MO and Cassie Anderson of Wildwood, MO; and her great grandchildren, Emma and Sophia. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, great and great-great-nieces and nephews, cousins, other relatives and many friends.
