She was predeceased by: her father Leslie Ely; and her sister Lena Rickman. She is survived by: her mother Betty Ely of St. Clair; her husband David Carlson of Union; her children, Erich Lenway of St. Clair and Elizabeth Carlson of St. Clair; her granddaughter Riley Waldron; and her siblings, Lorn Ely (Elsa) of Houston, Texas, Lois Masterson (Pat) of Walnut Shade and Loti Barker (Scott) of Higden, Arkansas. She is also survived by other relatives and many, many friends.
