We are sad to announce that on June 1, 2024, at the age of 91, Richard James Stern of Saint Clair, Missouri, born in Belleville, Illinois passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
Though his name may fade from the lips of time, the imprint Richard James leaves upon the hearts of his loved ones remains eternally vivid — a testament to the depth of his spirit and the richness of his legacy.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles Stern and Florence Goacher; his stepfather Keith Goacher; and his son Erich G. Stern. He is survived by: his wife Karen Stern of St. Clair, MO; his children, Kurt Stern of Sullivan, MO, Traci Monk (Scott) of St. Clair, MO and Rick Stern of St. Louis, MO; his sisters-in-law, Beverly Castelli and Sharon Kelly (Bill); and his grandchildren, Erich Monk (Lindsay), Addison Monk, Meghan Monk and Tyler Stern. He is also survived by three great-grandchildren, cousins and many friends.
