We bid farewell to Stephen Jay Carter of Saint Clair, Missouri, whose journey of life gracefully concluded on April 19, 2026 at the age of 72. Stephen touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. He was predeceased by: his parents, James Sherman Carter and Geraldine Carter; his son Lucas Stephen Carter; and his brother-in-law Howard Little. He is survived by: his wife Lucinda Carter of St. Clair, MO; his stepchildren, Jessica Barker and Richard "Allen" Barker; his siblings, Stan Carter (Toni) and Janet Wright (Gary); and his siblings-in-law, Marsha Brown (Mike), Geraldine Little and Nick Bommarito (Patty). He is also survived by nine grandchildren, one great-grandchild, nieces, nephews, great and great-great-nieces and nephews, cousins and many friends.
