He was predeceased by: his parents, Arthur Bernard Ritter and Viola Anna Ritter; his wife Edith Ritter; his former wife Judith Darden; and his siblings, Bernard, Jack, Arthur J., Daniel Ritter and Patricia Hoffmeister.
He is survived by: his children, Martin Ritter of Sullivan, MO, Lori Ritter of St. Clair, MO, Teresa Ritter of Edmonds, WA and Michelle Ritter (Kevin Reed) of Edmonds, WA; his daughter-in-law Amy Weida of St. Clair, MO; his grandchildren, Jade Walther, Kindra Ritter, Osborne Niggli, Jasper Niggli, Reyna Marquez and Ruby Marquez; his great grandchildren, Lainey and Mia Walther; his brother Jerome Ritter of St. Clair, MO; and his sister-in-law Georgia Ritter of Washington, MO. He is also survived by six step-children, many step-grandchildren, many step-great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, great and great-great-nieces and nephews, cousins and friends.
