He is survived by : his wife Sharon Skaggs of St. Clair; his sons, Dennis Skaggs (Sonya) of Hillsboro, Tom Skaggs Jr. (Jacky Pashia) of Wildwood and Danny Skaggs (Ann) of Union; his grandchildren, Melanie Hanley (Mike), Tiffany Whitney (Ryan), Alexander Skaggs, Joshua Skaggs and Stephen Skaggs; and his great grandchildren, Desmond and Jameson Hanley. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, and many other relatives and friends.
