She was predeceased by: her parents, F. O. Pinkston and Majorie Pinkston Bowling; her husband William G. "Bill" Brown; her daughter Dana; her stepfather Bill Bowling; her siblings, Frank Pinkston (Jack Pinkston), Kelly Pinkston (Wallace Pinkston), Robert Pinkston (Caroline Pinkston) and Roxie Brown; and her half-sister Pauline Kingston (Charles).
She is survived by: her son-in-law Clay Haynes of Wentzville, MO; her grandsons, Nathan Haynes of Kansas City, MO, Mark Haynes of Billings, MT and James Coday of Liberty, MO.; her sister Judy Bullock; and her sister-in-law Mary Lou Pinkston of Rolla, MO. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Friday, August 8th 2025 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Jones Funeral Home (200 N Meramec St, St James, MO 65559). A funeral service was held on Saturday, August 9th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location. A burial was held on Saturday, August 9th 2025 at the St James Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in her name to the Dana Brown Haynes Memorial 4-H Scholarship. Gifts may be sent to the Missouri 4-H Foundation, 109 Whitten Hall, Columbia, MO 65211.
