With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Jerry Wayne Hanks of Saint James, Missouri, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on August 1, 2025 at the age of 58. He was predeceased by: his parent Jerry Albert (Pug); his great-nephew Samuel Skinner; and his niece Britney Hanks. He is survived by: his mother Jettie Watson Hanks of St. James, Missouri; his children, Dylan Hanks of St. James, Dalton Hanks (Paige) of Rolla, Missouri and Delanie Hagenhoff (Dakota) of St. James, Missouri; his siblings, Paul Hanks (Cheryl) of Rolla, Missouri and Tina Woolf (Mike) of Salem, Missouri; and his grandchildren, Sawyer, Memphis and Wrenley.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, August 6th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 2:00 PM at the Jones Funeral Home (200 N Meramec St, St James, MO 65559). A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, August 6th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location. A burial will be held on Wednesday, August 6th 2025 at the Pleasant Hill Cemetery.
