We bid farewell to John E. Heuser Jr. of Saint James, Missouri, whose journey of life gracefully concluded on April 27, 2025 at the age of 87. John touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. He was predeceased by: his parents, John E. Heuser, Sr. and Amelia Elizabeth Sellers (Sewell); his wife Shirley Gann; his close friend Irene Parsons; his son Doug Szczuka; and his brother Doyle Pete Heuser.
He is survived by: his children, John Earl Heuser (Dawn) of Cook Station, Jim Heuser (Sandy) of Steelville, Missouri, Janice Achterberg of Oklahoma and Judy Ramsey (Gerald) of Sullivan, Missouri; his siblings, William Heuser (Josefina) of California and Henrietta Sisk of Peoria, Illinois; and his sister-in-law Cathy Heuser of St. James, Missouri. He is also survived by several grandchildren; great-grandchildren; and great-great-grandchildren.
Memorial donations may be given to the Phelps Health Hospice or the St. James Living Center Patient Fund.
