She was predeceased by : her parents, Gerald S. Young and Mary Angelia Young (Wimmer); and her husband James Richard Hofherr. She is survived by : her children, Andrew Hofherr of Steelville, MO, John Hofherr (Jenny) of Calistoga, CA, Peter Hofherr (Beth) of Jefferson City, MO and Leslie Anne Hofherr of Encinitas, CA; her sister Libby Loose (Jack) of Huntsville, AL; and her grandchildren, Brandon, Mara, Finlay, Audrey, Gavin, Samuel and David.
