She was predeceased by: her parents, Nile Plemmons and Ethel Plemmons (Spurgeon); and her brothers-in-law, Larry Swarvar and Bill Carney. She is survived by: her daughter Anita Vannatta (Cain) of St Louis; her grandchildren, Mekeysha, Myka, Ian, Heather, David, Katie, Christofer and Derrick; and her siblings, Karen Swarvar of Fairview Texas, Wenona Carney of Rolla, Lisa Gan (Mike) and Don Plemmons (Anita) of St James.
In Lieu of flowers, memorials have been given to the Phelps County Animal Rescue, in honor of her love for animals.
