With profound sadness, we say goodbye to Alice L. Shue of Saint Joseph, Missouri, whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. Alice left this world on June 11, 2025 at the age of 86, leaving a void in the lives of so many people. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Kenneth Driver West, Sr. of St. Joseph and Mary Pauline West (Miller) of St. Joseph; her brother Kenneth Driver West II; and her sisters-in-law, Marilyn West of St. Joseph and Jo Anne Selby.
She is survived by: her sister-in-law Elsie Downey (Ed); her children, Paula Winfrey (Dana) of St. Joseph, Laura O'Hara (Michael) of Muncie, Lawrence Shue (Kathleen) of Chugiak, Cory Shue (Bridget) of Wathena and Christian Shue (Carolyn) of Muncie; her nieces and nephews, Lisa West, Debbie Nanneman, Tami Cerny-Cordez, Stacy Downey, Candy Bennett, Dawn Marriott and Eddie Downey; her grandchildren, Jared Green (Crystal), Jillian Parisoff (Tyler), Dana Winfrey (Mary), Austin Nelson, Erin Shue, Lyrik Guemmer (August), Grant Shue, Gehrig Shue, Graycen Shue, Christopher Shue (Angi), Bradley Shue, Katherine Shue and Addison Shue; her great grandchildren, Kennedy Green, Leia Johnson, Lilly Harpring, Madison Green, Jaynee Green, Ryder Green, Quinn Green, Nova Green, Gemma Parisoff, Henley Parisoff, Lyla Shue, Ella Shue, Llewyn Guemmer and Alice Guemmer; and her close friend Mary Swafford.
