She was predeceased by: her parents, William Hall and Margaret Hall (Nichlous); and her husband Virgil Simpson. She is survived by: her sons, David Simpson (Lalena) and Terry Simpson (Stephanie); her stepson Chris Simpson (Cindy); and her sister Emma Smith (Lester). She is also survived by eight grandchildren; several great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, November 5th 2026 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Heaton-Bowman-Smith & Sidenfaden Chapel (3609 Frederick Ave, St Joseph, MO 64506). A funeral service will be held on Friday, November 6th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
