It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Anna B. Curtis (Saint Joseph, Missouri), born in Rushville, Missouri, who passed away on September 12, 2023, at the age of 91, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her husband Carl Earl Curtis; her parents, Thomas Hook and Margarete Hook (Osborne); her daughters, Anna Marie and Barbara Curtis; her grandchildren, Kyle, Carl A. Curtis, Nicholas Sutton, Greg Roberts and Raymond Price; her daughter-in-law Gina Curtis; and her siblings, Martin Hook, Thomas Hook, Molly Barnes, Dorothy Hook, Flora Belle Hook, Mattie Hook and Ada Hook.
She is survived by: her children, Carol Bower (Mike), Shirley Kline (Greg), Karen Oliver (Gary), Peggy Schrader (Paul), Julie Mindermann (Paul), Mary Good (Chris), Bill Curtis (Cindie), John Curtis and Jesse Curtis (Susan); her nephew Eugene Hook; and her sister Edna Mae Danberry. She is also survived by 30 grandchildren and many great-grandchildren.
