She is survived by: her son Nicholas Gilmore; and her siblings, Peggy Storm, Gayle Brown, Kent Walker, William Walker, Kary McCulley and Jessie Fisk.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorial contributions to the Brain Injury Association of Kansas and Greater Kansas City.
