With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Arlene S. Clawson (Saint Joseph, Missouri), who passed away on December 29, 2019 at the age of 92. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her son Sam Clawson, Jr.; and her parents, John Sauerhage and Alice Sauerhage (Crawford). She is survived by: her husband Sam Clawson August; her son John Clawson (Dee Dee); her sisters, Bonnie Hamel of Independence, MO and Johnnie Jean Vollrath; and her grandchildren, Ciara Clawson, John Tyler Clawson (Ren) and Meghan Downey.

In lieu of flowers the family requests donations to the Camp Geiger Maintenance Fund.
