He was predeceased by: his parents, Alice Furgeson and James Furgeson Sr.; and his siblings, Brenda Parham, Sherrie Smithers and Joe Furgeson.
He is survived by: his children, Arley Furgeson (Valerie) of St. Joseph, MO, Shantell Wells (Brian) of St. Joseph, MO, Michelle Boone (Edward) of St. Joseph, MO and Alicia Miller (Thomas) of St. Joseph, MO; his grandchildren, Jazmine, Kolby, Coltan, Macee, Raygin, Ryker, Jurnee, Phoenix, Landon, Bryson, Cynsere, Rayael, Reazon, Kiyerah, Trey and Theo; his great grandchildren, Sergio, Romy, Riott, Willow and Rio; and his siblings, Jimmy Furgeson, Dick Furgeson (Kim), John Furgeson (Debbie), Judy Corona, Patty Rahn and Carole Williams (Roger).
A reception was held on Friday, July 25th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Rupp Funeral Home (6054 Pryor Ave, St Joseph, MO 64504).
