With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Arthur Dean Sowell of Saint Joseph, Missouri, who passed away on December 22, 2022 at the age of 72. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Arthur Lloyd and Rose Evelyn Sowell (Doty); his daughter Dara; and his siblings, Caroline and Bill.

He is survived by: his spouse Rolinda Bailey; his children, Diana Skaggs (Kevin), Tara Sowell, Lori Chappell (Mike) and Nathan Sowell (Tracy); his grandchildren, Timothy, Anthony, Cortney, Drayden, Quentin, Ayden, Brooklyn, Daira and Landyn; and his pet Bailey. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
