He was predeceased by: his parents, Margaret Hendrix and Jesse Hendrix; and his siblings, Helen Thornton, Anna May Goodpasture, Jerry Hendrix, Francis Hendrix, Thomas Hendrix, Melvin Hendrix and JD Bush.
He is survived by: his wife Helen Hendrix; his daughters, Holly Hendrix and Bethany Hendrix; his grandchildren, Keilana Hendrix, Keiron Harper, Keishaun Harper, Kaitlyn Collins, Kellen Collins (Caitlen), Karsyn Collins, Kavion, Zara, Kamira and Crue; and his friends, Chad Collins, Wayne, Quentin Tollefson, InterServ and Bennie.
Visitation was held on Friday, September 18th 2026 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Rupp Funeral Home (6054 Pryor Ave, St Joseph, MO 64504). A graveside service will be held on Friday, September 25th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the Leavenworth National Cemetery (150 Muncie Rd, Leavenworth, KS 66048).
In lieu of flowers, memorials are requested to the InterServ or Open Door Food Kitchen.
