She is survived by: her siblings, Nancy Ashby Kilgore of St. Joseph, Carol Ashby Kraeger of Decatur, Illinois and David Ashby.

In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorial contributions to Friends of the Animal Shelter of St. Joseph.
