She was predeceased by: her parents, Truman Slocum and Virginia Slocum; her husband Donald K. Lowry; and her brother Wendell Slocum. She is survived by: her children, Billie Abernathy (Ron), Larry Lowry (Cogie) and Kelly Fifer (Tim); and her siblings, Mary Link, Peg Jenkins, Linda Jones, Mel and Duane Slocum. She is also survived by 9 grandchildren, 21 great-grandchildren, and 3 great-great grandchildren.
The family requests memorial donations be made to the American Heart Association.
