He was predeceased by: his parents, Harry Blizzard and Nellie Blizzard (Ferguson); his daughters, Debbie Blizzard and Clara Blizzard; and his siblings, Carol Williams and Butch Blizzard.

He is survived by: his wife Shirley Blizzard; his children, Robert Blizzard (C. J.), Tim Blizzard (LeeAnn), Susan Davis (Rodney) and Bobbie Jean Dunn (James); and his stepson Gerald Terry. He is also survived by several grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces, and nephews.
