We bid farewell to Bob Ross of Saint Joseph, Missouri, whose journey of life gracefully concluded on October 15, 2025 at the age of 85. Bob touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. He was predeceased by: his parents, Thomas Ross and Mildred Ross (Breeden); and his parents-in-law, Leo Voorhes, Helen and Dale Jarvis.
He is survived by: his wife Marla Joyce Voorhes; his children, Melanie Rose and Kyle Ross (Becky); his grandchildren, Dallas Ross, Tommy Ross, Brandon Rose, McKenna Stafford (Jake), Tori Pope (Colten), Tara Knipp (Tyler) and Bryson Rose; his great grandchildren, Myles, Tatum and Theo; and his siblings-in-law, Kitty, Stan Weston, David and Gloria Voorhes.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, October 19th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the Meierhoffer Funeral Home & Crematory (5005 Frederick Ave Suite A, St Joseph, MO 64506). A funeral service will be held on Monday, October 20th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the same location.
The family suggests memorial contributions to the Patee House Museum.
