He is survived by: his wife Sherri Kratzer; his daughter Sheila Hicks (Frederick); his siblings, David Burns, Donald Burns (Donna), Jerry Burns (Nina), Larry Burns (Robin), Bonnie Keling and Carolyn Portell; and his pet Shiloh. He is also survived by numerous grandchildren; several great-grandchildren.
