He was predeceased by: his parents, Edward Byron and Marguerite Myers (Talley); his brother Michael A Myers; his sister-in-law Sue Myers (Gibson); and his nephew Zac Nothhouse.

He is survived by: his wife Phyllis Anne (Yost); his children, Dee Ann Vestal (Mike) and Byron II (Carol); his grandchildren, Josh Heckman, Patrick Lile (Sara), Allison Johnston (Matt), Mia Myers and Joey Myers; his great grandchildren, Tyson, Emery, Truman, Weston Lile, Elizabeth Heckman, Marley and Ryker Johnston; and his sister Lacyne Nothhouse (Bob). He is also survived by several nieces, nephews and cousins.
