We are sad to announce that on July 9, 2023, at the age of 85, Carolyn Smither of Saint Joseph, Missouri, born in Pollocksville, North Carolina passed away. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Carolyn Smither to pay them a last tribute.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Julian C. Jenkins and Rebecca Jenkins; her husband Harlan H. Smither; her granddaughter Haylee Smither; her sisters, Madeena Jenkins, Edrene Locklear and Christine Beal; and her sister-in-law Betty June Parker.
She is survived by: her children, Wayne Smither (Lori), Sherlyn Jurgensen and Keith Smither (Teresa); her grandchildren, Jonathan, Michael (Kathy), Chris (Frankie), Stephanie, Raven, Riley, Lexi, Drew (Lauren), Hannah (Stephen) and Travis Angie (Chloe); her sister Priscilla Jenkins; and her sister-in-law Hester Hess (Frank). She is also survived by 13 great-grandchildren, many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
In lieu of flowers memorial contributions to the Alzheimer Association would be appreciated.
