She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Caryl Kent and Ruby Kent (Campbell); her husband Bill; her daughter Julie; her sister Sue Meadows; her daughters, Shelley Taylor (Bryan) of Lowell, AR and Kristie Burkert (Brian); her sister Linda Slayden; her grandchildren, Jacob, Megan and Will; and her stepgrandchildren, Joanne, Beth and Devon. She was also cherished by numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

Memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society in care of Heaton-Bowman-Smith & Sidenfaden Chapel.
