She was predeceased by: her parents, Jack Peters and Elizabeth Peters (Weiser); her brother Jack Peters; and her close friend Charlene Lloyd. She is survived by: her children, Billy Amos, Jr. and Amy Bates (Bob); her grandchildren, Caleb Bates (Hayley Goehring) and Delaney Bates; her great grandchild Carson Bates; her brother Terry Peters (Veronica); and her sister-in-law Cheryl Peters. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, other extended family.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, July 22nd 2025 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Meierhoffer Funeral Home & Crematory (5005 Frederick Ave Suite A, St Joseph, MO 64506). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, July 23rd 2025 at 10:00 AM at the same location.
