He was predeceased by: his parents, James Baker and Margaret Baker (Schernick); and his siblings, Roger, James, Daniel Baker and Margaret "Sissy" Mastey.
He is survived by: his wife Sheryl Grinstead; his brother Ronald (Vicki); his children, Amy, David and Charles; and his stepchildren, Stacy, Johusa (Kaylie) and Jessica (Jayson). He is also survived by numerous grandchildren, nieces, and nephews.
A funeral service will be held on Saturday, October 11th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Remington Nature Center (1502 McArthur Dr, St Joseph, MO 64505).
