He was predeceased by: his parents, Aubrey Monk and Norma Seiter; his stepfather Kenny Seiter; his siblings, George Monk and Brenda Monk; and his niece Deidra Connell.

He is survived by: his spouse Daveta Clinton Monk; his children, Tabitha Milbourn, George Monk, Charles Monk, Jr. and Chris Wegenka (Daveta Monk); his siblings, Danny Monk, Billy Seiter, Gary Seiter (Brenda) and Roma Childress (Ken); and his siblings-in-law, Peggy Monk and Mike Baier. He is also survived by 11 grandchildren, 4 great-grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews.
