He was predeceased by: his parents, Ellen Mitchell and Charles Mitchell; his former wives, Carolyn Jean Mitchell and Lucille Colley; his stepson Randy Stallsworth; and his siblings, Gene Mitchell and Alberta Mooney.
He is survived by: his children, Charles Mitchell, Richard Mitchell (Rhonda), Kelly Stallsworth, Jakey Mitchell and Carol Sue Morales (Jesus); and his siblings, Pete Mitchell (Sharon), Juanita Adkins, Ellen Marie Wells (Wendell), Susie Dowell and Levi Mitchell. He is also survived by 32 grandchildren, and 68 great-grandchildren.
Memorials are requested to the Soul's Harbor Pentecostal Church.
