She was predeceased by: her parents, Chester King and Opal King (Thomas). She is survived by: her daughters, Roxanne Willis (David) and Gina Grier (Vince); and her grandchildren, Cristin Coffman (Todd), Sadie Cruz (Evan), Kadie Cottle (Dawson) and Archer Grier. She is also survived by two Great Grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, October 2nd 2025 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Heaton-Bowman-Smith & Sidenfaden Chapel (3609 Frederick Ave, St Joseph, MO 64506). A funeral service will be held on Friday, October 3rd 2025 at 10:30 AM at the same location. A committal service will be held on Friday, October 3rd 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Fletchall Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, and in honor of Chesteen's love of children, the family request donations to be made to The Noyes Home for Children.
