He was predeceased by: his parents, Clarence A. Modlin and Cleta R. Modlin (Gerber); and his wife Rita. He is survived by: his children, Alfred of St. Joseph, Frank (Suzie) of St. Joseph, MO, Mary Lester (Jerry), Martin (Robyn) of St. Joseph, Rita White (Phil) of Smithville, MO, Joe (Sue) of Savannah, MO, John (Jeanne), Mike (Joelle) of St. Joseph and Pat (Terri) of Faucett, MO. He is also survived by 27 grandchildren, 54 great grandchildren, and 10 great-great grandchildren.
The family suggests memorial donations to Bishop LeBlond High School or the Cathedral of St. Joseph Church, in lieu of flowers.
