The memory of Curtis E. Malotte of Saint Joseph, Missouri, who passed away on November 20, 2025 at the age of 82, will forever remain in the hearts of those touched by this precious presence in their lives. He was predeceased by: his mother Lydia Malotte; and his siblings, Dean, Arthur Dale, Evan Malotte, Lila Malotte, Thelma Longers and Azelda Paul.
He is survived by: his wife Linda Malotte; his children, Rhonda Embrey of St. Joseph, MO and Rodney Malotte (Karla) of St. Joseph, MO; and his grandchildren, Josh Embrey (Lydia), Sean Smith (Jessica), Dakota Malotte (Timberlee), Brock Malotte, Tyler Schildknecht (Michaela), Taylor Taylor (Dylon) and Lacie. He is also survived by 15 great grandchildren, and 2 great-great grandchildren, as well as numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, November 25th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Rupp Funeral Home (6054 Pryor Ave, St Joseph, MO 64504). A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, November 26th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the same location. A graveside service will be held on Wednesday, November 26th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Memorial Park Cemetery (5005 Frederick Ave, St Joseph, MO 64506).
