He was predeceased by: his parents, Harry Watson Sr. and Lucille Hall; his son Danny Jr.; his stepparents, Sue Watson and Ogden Hall; and his brother Rick Watson.
He is survived by: his wife Gloria; his son Jody; his siblings, Sarah Gibson, Brenda Van Volkenberg, John and Bob Watson; and his grandchildren, Danni Lynn and Skylar. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, September 8th 2026 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Rupp Funeral Home (6054 Pryor Ave, St Joseph, MO 64504). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, September 9th 2026 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
