He was predeceased by: his parents, John Oscar Hartschen and Vera Mae Hartschen (Wardrip); and his brother John H. Hartschen. He is survived by: his sister-in-law Francis Hartschen; his niece Jennifer Yarnell (Todd); and his nephew Jeffery Hartschen (Heather). He is also survived by other family members and friends.
