He was predeceased by: his parents, Benjamin Bonnett and Elnora Bonnett (McClaren); and his siblings, Gerald Bonnett, Nancy Rhimes and Barbara Leslie.
He is survived by: his children, Tommy Bonnett and Debra Scharp (Rance); his grandchildren, Emily Chick (Jeremy), Jessica Duarte (Daniel) and Lacy Starr (Phillip); and his great grandchildren, Olivia Grace Chick, Everett David Chick and Orion Lee Rellergert. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Alzheimer Association or to Flaming Spirit Church Service Camp.
