He was predeceased by: his parents, Virginia Bunton and Frank Bunton; his son David Franklin Bunton Jr.; and his brother Roger Bunton. He is survived by: his wife Doris Bunton; his daughters, Julia Littlewood (Chip), Terri Conner and Tracy Kendall; and his siblings, Dallas Bunton and Debbie Richardson. He is also survived by 10 grandchildren, and 18 great grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, October 8th 2025 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Rupp Funeral Home (6054 Pryor Ave, St Joseph, MO 64504). A funeral service will be held on Thursday, October 9th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the same location.
