He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph Jr. Mollus and Irene Mollus (Schwope); his wife Janet Link; and his brother Robert Mollus. He is survived by: his children, Karen Mollus (Lisa Pelofsky), Kelly Lowrance (Gregg), Eric Mollus (Tara), Steven Mollus (Janice), Benjamin Mollus (Melissa), Jeremy Mollus, Jill Morgan (Guy), Adam Mollus, Melinda Edwards (Jason) and Michael Mollus (Jovonna); and his siblings, Jon Skaug (Catherine) and Nancy Lybarger (Jesse). He is also survived by 26 grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren, numerous other extended family members and friends.
