He is survived by: his wife Marcene; his children, Fortisha Williams (Calvin), David Howard Jr. (Dana), Trina Howard, Erika Howard and Cheyenne Howard; his stepchildren, Glenn Watson III (Stephanie) and Tiffany Stanza (Daniel); his brothers, Billy, Bradley, Clyde and Jon; his grandchildren, Kellie, Sydney Williams, Aaron, Alyssa, Alex Howard, Maxen Brownell, Zayne Graves and Porter Pamperin; and his stepgrandchildren, Hannah, Adalynn, Charlotte Watson, Stephen White, Max, Mila Hubbard and Mariah Stanza. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and cousins.
