Delores Platt Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Delores Platt of Saint Joseph, Missouri, who passed away on June 30, 2023, at the age of 90, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Leo H. Hockaday and Edna Hockaday (Brown); her significant other Robert R. Platt (Bob); her granddaughter Dawn Brown; her siblings, Connie Hartman, Emory Hockaday and Bill Sells; and her stepmother Mary Hockaday.
She is survived by: her children, Robert F Brown (Connie), Vicki L. Phillips (Joe) of Tarpon Springs, FL, Bronco R. Brown (Janetta) of Sparta, TN and Carla R. Olivarez (Mark) of Mission, KS; her grandchildren, Craig Brown, Lori Brown, Cheryl Brown, Corie Wright, Charlie Phillips, Christi Buller of Joey Phillips, B. J, Andrea Jones, Nick Olivarez and Megan Harms; her brother Leo Hockaday (Dean); her sister-in-law Darla; and her sister Joyce Scott of Alamo, TX..
Also, a HUGE THANK YOU to Mosaic Hospice Care Staff, especially Hospice Nurse Jason who was with Mom these past few years taking such great care her (especially thru Covid), and helped her thru her final journey.
