It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Delores Mae Widener of Saint Joseph, Missouri, who passed away on March 4, 2026, at the age of 88, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Lillian Mead and Alva Mead; her husband Bill Widener; her son Timothy Lee Widener; and her granddaughter Serenity.
She is survived by: her son Bill Widener of Platte City, MO; her grandchildren, Scott Widener, Bryan Widener (Tania) of Moodus, CT, Ben Widener and Melinda Wilson (Steve); and her sister Shirley Matthews. She is also survived by seven great grandchildren, and four great-great grandchildren.
Memorials are requested to the New Home Baptist Church.
