She was predeceased by: her parents, Helen Silvey and Clifford Silvey. She is survived by: her husband Virgil Eugene Matthews; her children, Debbie Pulley (Mark), Lori Snowden (Kevin), Laura McDevitt, Shelley Ashby (Brent) of Saint Joseph, MO and Kyle J. Matthews (Allison) of Tonganoxie, KS; and her siblings, Terry Allen Silvey (Diane) of Saint Joseph, MO, Lonnie Silvey of Saint Joseph, MO, Richard Silvey of Saint Joseph, MO, Nancy Barmann (Mark) and Connie Finney (Jim). She is also survived by 14 grandchildren, 18 great-grandchildren, and numerous nieces and nephews.
Memorials are requested to the St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
