It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Don Edwards (Saint Joseph, Missouri), born in Cedar Rapids, Iowa, who passed away on May 7, 2025, at the age of 84, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Donald Arden Edwards and Helen Minnie Hoecker; his wife Rosemary Ann Swope; his children, Mary Agnes and Sean Paul; and his grandparents, Amelia (Karrasch) and Herman Hoecker.
He is survived by: his children, Mark (Vonda), Matt (Kathi), Elizabeth, Joe (Lori) and Sarah Jones (Russel); his brother Richard Lee Edwards Sr. of St. Joseph; and his siblings-in-law, Lawrence Freeman Swope of Amity, Thomas B. Croat of St Louis, Maxine Swope of Amity and Patricia Croat of St Louis. He is also survived by ten grandchildren, 19 great grandchildren and 3 great-great grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers the family suggests donations to St. Jude's Children's Hospital.
