He was predeceased by: his parents, Donald Cedric Brown, Sr. and Lura Louise Brown; and his brother Col. Roger Allen Brown. He is survived by: his wife Flo Ann; his children, Cheryl Churchman (Michael), Jeffrey Scott Brown and Donald C. Brown (Heather Brown); his grandchildren, Shawn Churchman, Courtney Churchman-Illo (Rado), Harrison Brown, Hannah Brown, Donnie Brown, Scotty Brown and Jewelia Brown; his great grandchildren, Calli, Memphis and Sophia; and his sister Dorothy Curry. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews and extended family.

In lieu of flowers, the family suggests donations to the American Heart Association.
