She was predeceased by: her parents, Orville Eugene and Margaret Bridgette Akey (Swords); and her sister Katherine Frazier. She is survived by: her stepdaughters, Shannon Lysaught (Kevin) and Jamie Roberts (Ray); her brother Jim Akey (Barb); and her grandchildren, Brooke, Grant Lysaught, Paige, Marissa Roberts, English and Abby. She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.

In lieu of flowers, the family suggests donations be made to the Lukemia & Lymphoma Society.
